The community is part of the parish of Santa Ana  whose church is very close by.

The Archdiocese of Maputo¹ is led by Archbishop Francisco Chimoio, who is a Franciscan priest of the Catholic Order of Friars Minor Capuchin (OFM Cap). The seat of the Archbishop is the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate administered Conception, situated next to the Metropolitan City Hall, off Avenida Ho Chi Min.
